Good vessels keep good crews. We work with owners who want the same seafarers to return — and we manage the planning, documentation and payroll so that they can.
Martracon recruits officers and ratings internationally for vessels we manage on behalf of shipowners. We never charge seafarers a fee. If your experience fits one of the vessels we crew, our recruitment team guides you through the process and coordinates the certificates and documentation required for the assignment. From application through to joining — and once you are sailing with us — you deal with people who know you and your vessel.
Martracon is MLC 2006 certified by RINA. Your employment agreement, hours of rest, wage records and repatriation arrangements are maintained to that certified standard.

Wage irregularities, unsafe practice, harassment, or anyone demanding a recruitment fee in our name — report it directly to management. You may report anonymously, and no seafarer will be disadvantaged for raising a concern in good faith.

No. Martracon never asks seafarers for payment in connection with recruitment, placement or employment. If anyone requests payment in our name, please verify the contact against the details published on this website before responding.
